Kaneshie 1 JHS 

In our mission to promote education and community development, we spearheaded the establishment of the Kehillah Center & Public Library. This project was designed to provide a safe and accessible space for students and community members to learn, read, and engage in educational activities. The library is equipped with a wide range of books, digital resources, and study spaces, fostering a love for reading and lifelong learning. By creating this center, we aimed to bridge educational gaps and offer valuable resources that empower the local community to thrive academically and personally.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

Our scholarship programs aim to provide financial assistance to underprivileged students who demonstrate academic potential and a strong commitment to learning. By offering scholarships, we help remove financial barriers to education, allowing deserving students to pursue their studies and achieve their academic goals. These scholarships not only cover tuition fees but also offer support for educational materials, making it easier for students to focus on their academic journey and excel.

OUR APPROACH

CLI will collect needs from different under-resourced communities & individuals and look for partners who want to sponsor a part/whole of that need. For example, a resident of Kasoa in Accra, Ghana can volunteer to sponsor pencils for his local public school. He or she may even volunteer to teach a lesson or two if they lack teachers. In another case, members of a community or sympathizers can contribute to build a library in their community. This is the core of our model. We connect communities to helpers to provide resources in making the basic need of education a reality for all.
